ABOUT US
My Great-Great Grandfather, Louis Zoellner, settled in Highlands,
North Carolina at the time it was founded. You may have seen his picture playing the violin with the Kelsey Boys on the wall
of a restaurant or in the local library or Historical Society. I am the fourth generation to be born in Highlands, and I can
imagine no other place to live and call home. Since I was a small child, I have roamed the mountains and loved the outdoors.
My family instilled in me a love and respect for the nature, wildlife, and flowers unique to our mountains. I respect the
environment that I have been blessed to live in and have made it my life’s work to enhance it by adding landscapes that
harmonize with the environment. As Zoellner Landscaping continues to grow, I will keep my focus on this beautiful mountain
area – adding to rather than taking away from its beauty.
