Zoellner Landscaping is located in Highlands, North Carolina
in the Southwestern corner. This beautiful plateau town, in the Blue Ridge Mountains, is strategically located near the borders
of Georgia and South Carolina. Highlands, a town in Macon County, boasts of an average elevation of 4118 feet. Snow is possible
from late October through March. Founded in 1897 by Samuel Kelsey and Clinton Hutchinson, the average temperatures in summer
are in the 70’s and 20’s in the winter. Highlands hosts a summer population of from 20,000 to 30,000 and a winter population
of approximately 3,000 (however this number is rising yearly). Highlands has an average of between 70 and 90 inches of annual
rainfall – creating an excellent environment for trees and beautiful and unique wild flowers.
